The Utah Warriors of the National Indoor Football League are proud to announce the signing of former University of Mary star defensive back, Shawn Kojima
Shawn played his high school football at Hillcrest in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated in 1999. He was selected to the All Region and All State teams as a D/B and was chosen on the All American Honorable Mention Team. Shawn was also an All State wrestler and ran the anchor leg on the state champions 4x100 relay team. He runs a 4.4- 40yd dash. Along with his sports accolades he carried a 3.9 grade point average.
Shawn was offered numerous scholarships after high school and chose Dixie State College. He was a two year starter and was named the preseason player to watch at the NJCAA level. During his senior year Dixie played in the National Championship game.
After his two years at Dixie he signed with University of Mary in North Dakota where he was their number 1 recruit. His senior year he was selected to the Senior All star Bowl in Dallas Texas.
