Vancouver Warriors News Release
The Vancouver Warriors have signed forwards Chase McIntyre and Colton Clark, subject to NLL approval.
McIntyre, 25, is from North Vancouver and played last season with Maple Ridge and Coquitlam of the Western Lacrosse Association, scoring 16 goals and adding 18 assists for 34 points. One of McIntyre's teammates in Coquitlam is goaltender Andrew Gallant.
"Chase had a good season in the WLA," comments Warriors General Manager Dan Richardson. "We love his size and physical play and believe that he is growing as a lacrosse player. We look forward to bringing Chase into camp to see what he can do."
Clark, 30, is from Nanaimo but calls the Lower Mainland home. Clark played last season with the Nanaimo Timbermen (WLA), scoring 22 goals and adding 36 helpers for 58 points. He is summer teammates in Nanaimo with Brody Eastwood and the recently signed Jon Phillips. The trio were 1, 2 and 3 in team scoring for the Timbermen this past season.
"Colton is a big man as well, coming off a nice season with Nanaimo," says Richardson. "We like his size, athleticism and leadership ability."
