September 14, 2011 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Michigan Warriors News Release

Joey Ferriss opened the scoring with a quick shot from the slot on a pass from Luke Fiegl that beat Hitmen goaltender Brett Kilar at 11:59 of the 1st period to stake the Warriors to a 1-0 lead. Later, Bobby Mantha got Michigan out to a 2-0 lead with a power-play tally at the 19:12 mark of the 1st period.

Just over 9 minutes into the 2nd Period, after taking a feed from Zack Thompson on a Hitmen turnover, Zach Badalamenti (BAD-al-a-men-tee) spun in the slot and fired a shot past Kilar to give the Warriors a 3-0 lead, that would stand into the 3rd Period.

Closing out the Warriors scoring, Tyler Perpich flicked a quick wrist shot over the glove of Kilar into the upper right corner of the net for his 1st goal of the season, giving the Warriors a 4-0 lead with 13:32 remaining in the contest. Tiller and the Warriors held on from there despite 2 Hitmen goals in the 3rd Period, to notch the 4-2 victory.
