Warriors May Host National Title Game

July 15, 2003 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Utah Warriors News Release

The Utah Warriors travel to Nebraska to take on the Omaha Beef in the Pacific Conference Championship game. A win on Saturday will put Utah into the National Title game. This game, based on the team's record, should be a road game for the Warriors. However, the team learned today they might have a chance to host the Title game! If the Lake Charles Land Sharks (13-2) were to beat the Ohio Valley Greyhounds (15-0) they would have the right to host the game. The catch is that the Lake Charles Civic Center is not available on August 2nd, the night of the National Title Game. Therefore, the Utah Warriors would have the chance to host the game in Utah.

This Saturday's game can be heard live on 1280 AM The Sports Zone, with Ryan Hatch.

Kickoff is at 6:05 MST.
