Warriors Host College Night- Thursday Oct 20

The Michigan Warriors, who hold a 1point lead over the Kalamazoo Jr. K-wings in the North American Hockey League's North division, play host to division rival Jamestown Ironmen for 2 games at Perani Arena and Event Center this week.

Thursday Night's (Oct 20) game is "College Night" with students, faculty and staff of local colleges and universities able to purchase tickets for as low as $4 to the game. To purchase tickets students, faculty and staff just need to present their I.D. at the Perani Arena box office when purchasing their tickets to the game. Face-off for the game Thursday night is 7:30.

The Warriors again face-off against the Ironmen Friday night Oct 21 at 7:30 to wrap-up the home part of a busy weekend for the Warriors, who then travel to Kalamazoo on Saturday Oct 22, 2011. The Kalamazoo game puts the finishing touches on road games for the month of October that has seen the team play 6 of 10 games on the road.

The Warriors end their October schedule with a pair of home games on Friday and Saturday Oct 28 & 29 at Perani Arena and Event Center.

The Thursday Oct 28 game, at 7:30 pm, against the Traverse City North Stars is the Warriors annual Breast Cancer Awareness night entitled the "Positively Pink Game" sponsored by Hurley Hospital. The Warriors will be wearing special Pink jerseys during the game. The jersey's will then be autographed by Warriors players and donated to a special auction with proceeds to go to Hurley's Breast Cancer programs.

The Warriors close out October on Saturday Oct 29, at 7:00pm as they host I-69 rival the Port Huron Fighting Falcons.
