Michigan Warriors News Release
Michigan Warriors Forward Scott Henegar received Honorable Mention honors for his performance in the Warriors games against Port Huron last Friday and Saturday. The NAHL announced its weekly award winners on Monday.
Henegar had 5 goals and 2 assists for 7 points, and was +2 as the Warriors swept the weekend series against the Fighting Falcons to move into 3rd place in the NAHL North Division, with 6-1 and 9-2 victories over Port Huron.
The Warriors (13-7-1) are now riding a 5-game winning streak, and a league best 7-1-0 road record into a weekend series against division rival the Traverse City North Stars (12-8-1), at Center ICE Arena in Traverse City. On the Season the Warriors are 2-0 against the North Stars, with both victories coming at Perani Arena, earlier this month.
