June 17, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Utah Warriors News Release

St. Charles, MO– The Show Me Believers handed the Utah Warriors their fifth straight loss, 63-56, Thursday night at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. The Believers intercepted a Doug Smith pass on the game's first play, and ended the first quarter with a 21-14 lead. With the loss Utah falls to 5-8 on the year, and with one game left they sit percentage points ahead of the Wyoming Cavalry for the Pacific Conference's sixth and final playoff spot. The Warriors host the rival Billings Outlaws next Saturday, June 26, at the E-Center.

Utah trailed by 17 in the fourth quarter but rallied and cut it to seven after Smith found Emmett White for a touchdown, then after Shawn Kojima recovered a Show Me fumble, Pete Garces kicked a field goal to cut the lead the seven. Show then moved down field and ran out the clock for the win.

Tickets are available for the Billings game and all seats in the arena are only $5. For more information contact the Warriors office at 801-973-7311.
