Warriors Close in on NAHL Championship Game appearance

Michigan Warriors News Release


At the time of this release the Michigan Warriors were on their way to advancing to the Championship game of the NAHL Robertson Cup tournament by defeating the Amarillo Bulls in the Semi-Final game of the Robertson Cup.

Captain Scott Henegar has scored a Hat-trick for the Warriors who also have goals by Ryan Trenz and Brad Chapman, and A.J. White to lead the Warriors offense. Goaltender Robert Tadazak, the NAHL Most Valuable Player, has made 27 saves in net for Michigan.

With a Warriors victory tonight they will play the NAHL West Division champion Fairbanks Ice Dogs for the NAHL Championship on Saturday May 7, 2011 with a 7:35 (CST) Face-off, 8:35 EST.

The Ice Dogs defeated the Warriors in round-robin Robertson Cup tournament play 4-2 on Wednesday night in Topeka.
