Walk Ups Welcome at Omaha Vipers Open Tryouts This Weekend

(Omaha) - The Omaha Vipers will be holding open tryouts for the MISL professional indoor soccer team this Saturday and Sunday at the Vipers new training facility - The Indoor Soccer Center, 4718 North 120th Street, Omaha, NE 68164. There are over 120 participants already signed up but there are still slots available. Walk ups are welcome and encouraged to show up one hour prior to the start of any session.

Two sessions per day will be held: Saturday - 9am-12N and 1pm-5pm; Sunday - 9am-12N and 1pm-4pm. Cost to register: $50.00. Interested participants may sign up by calling the Omaha Vipers office at 402.932.3335 or email Patti at phiemer@omahavipers.com.

The public is welcome at the tryouts. Food and beverages will be available.

The Omaha Vipers are the MISL's newest franchise and will begin play in November 2010 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Season tickets are now on-sale at 402.932.3335 or on-line at www.omahavipers.com . The 12 game package can be purchased for $96 up to $216. A twenty-five dollar deposit will hold your tickets until November 1st.

The MISL represents the Major League of professional indoor soccer in the United States and Mexico and features the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league currently has seven member clubs for the 2010-11 season: the Baltimore Blast, La RaZa de Monterrey, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets, Philadelphia KiXX, Rockford Rampage and the newest MISL club in Omaha. The upcoming 2010-11 regular season will begin in mid-November and will end in late March. The postseason will begin and the end of March and conclude in the beginning of April.
