Voting Begins Today for the 2007 Sierra Mist Goal of the Year

NEW YORK (Oct. 25, 2007) - Voting for the 2007 Sierra Mist Goal of the Year kicked off today on the league's Web site - MLSnet.com. Fans may vote to determine the most remarkable goal of the 2007 regular season, choosing from 34 goals including the 29 winners of the Sierra Mist Goal of the Week and five additional nominees.
The voting breakdown follows:
1. Oct. 25 - Oct. 31 - Voting to select top 10 goals from original 34 nominees
2. Nov. 1 - Nov. 7 - Voting to select top five goals
3. Nov. 8 - Nov. 14 - Voting to select the 2007 Sierra Mist Goal of the Year from the top five goals
The Sierra Mist Goal of the Year will be announced on Nov. 16, 2007.
