Cincinnati Swarm News Release
Cincinnati, Ohio â The Cincinnati Swarm of the af2 announced today the "official voice" of the team will be Michael Walter, AKA WEBN's Dolphin. Michael will announce Swarm home games and events.
Michael is a Louisville native and a graduate of Miami University. He's worked for WEBN since 1991, being an on-air personality for the past seven years. He also worked for ten years as the Miami University bike race announcer. "I look forward to seeing some smash-mouth, fan friendly football in town for a change," commented Dolphin. "And being part of the organization that's bringing it to town."
"We're excited to bring Dolphin to the team. He complements the fast-pace, hard-hitting game of arena football," said Matt Dunne of the Cincinnati Swarm. "We think he'll be able to entertain the fans and help them learn about Cincinnati's newest sports franchise."
The Cincinnati Swarm's first home game is April 19, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. vs. Charleston. Season tickets are on sale at (513) 421-3222. More information about the Swarm can be found at www.CincinnatiSwarm.com.
