Visit Under The Ice Lounge During Icehawks Home Games

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Icehawks and McMorran Place are pleased to announce the grand opening of the Under the Ice Lounge, a special area designed to enhance the fan experience during Icehawks home games. The Under the Ice Lounge is located in the lower lounge below the theatre at McMorran and will open for the first time on Saturday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. during the Icehawks home opener.

The lounge will typically open one hour before Icehawks games and will remain open throughout the game and following the contest. On Saturday, the lounge will open at 7 p.m. when the tailgate party concludes.

The Under the Ice Lounge features eight flat screen televisions so fans won't miss a minute of Icehawks action, as well as food and a full bar. After games, Icehawks players and staff will be on hand to meet with fans. Admission is free. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.

A D.J. will be in the lounge providing entertainment all night long, and prizes will be raffled off throughout the season.

"We can't wait to unveil the Under the Ice Lounge and kick off the new season," said Dave Goetze, Icehawks Vice President/Business Manager. "It is our desire to create a similar environment at McMorran that you may find at Joe Louis Arena in the Olympia Room."

"I think our fans are going to love the atmosphere and we're excited that the players will be able to spend some time with fans after the games."
