Tennessee Valley Raptors News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL â Tennessee Valley Vipers owner and president, Art Clarkson, announced today that the team has signed a two-year extension with a one-year option at the Vipers discretion with the Von Braun Center.
"We would like to thank Wayne Bonner and Loretta Spencer for helping facilitate this contract," Clarkson said. "It was just a matter of getting both parties together and working out a deal where both sides were happy. I am relieved that this is over and now we can concentrate of winning the 2003 ArenaCup."
The Vipers have averaged over 87% capacity in the VBC over their first three seasons. They have had over 5,000 in attendance at 22 of the teams' 28 home contests. They have put together a 21-7 record at the "Snake Pit".
"The Vipers have provided a first-class entertainment product to the Tennessee Valley," Von Braun Center Executive Director, Ron Evans, said. "We are pleased they will continue to be playing at the Von Braun Center for the next two seasons, and hopefully for many seasons to come."
