Chattahoochee Valley Vipers News Release
COLUMBUS, Ga-Terrance Samuels is a threat on either side of the line of scrimmage. Which is why the Chattahoochee Valley Vipers wanted him on their side, and not anyone else's.
Samuels signed on to the Valley Vipers' roster, adding another level of talent to the team. Coach Jason Gibson is looking forward to having Samuels contribute to either a high-scoring offense or a potent defense.
Gibson hints that fans may even see him line up as quarterback. And with wide receivers David Hill and Garvin Graves lining up to receive those passes, the results could be explosive.
Hill is a 6'2, 200-pound WR from Eufaula, AL. Rolling out of high school as the number-one ranked prospect in the state and number three in the nation at wide receiver, Hill attended Auburn University before he transferred to Troy State. He enjoyed a season with the Greensboro Prowlers of the af2, and then signed on as an offensive specialist with the AFL's Detriot Fury. While with Detroit, Hill set a Fury record for most TDs in a single game. A year later, with the Austin Wranglers, Hill set a team record for most yards in a single game.
Graves snagged two touchdown passes in the Valley Viper's scrimmage last Friday with the Rome Renegades, allowing Head Coach Jason Gibson to express having even more faith in his offense.
"We have a lot of options and a lot of experience" on offense, comments Gibson. "Our quarterback Andrico Hines is really starting to understand the offense. He made some good decisions in the scrimmage. We still have a long way to go to get where I want to be."
