Vermont Frost Heaves Unveil 2010 Schedule

Vermont Frost Heaves News Release
South Burlington, VT - The Vermont Frost Heaves are pleased to release their 2009-2010 Premier Basketball League Schedule.
The 2010 PBL season brings with the addition of several new franchises including the two-time former CBA champion, the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry from Oklahoma coached by former NBA player Michael Ray Richardson, as well as the former BSN Champions from Puerto Rico, the Capitanes de Arecibo and the Maryland GreenHawks.
Returning from last season along with the Frost Heaves are the Rochester RazorSharks, the Quebec Kebs, the Manchester Millrats, the Buffalo Stampede and the Halifax Rainmen.
The Frost Heaves will kick off the season with the Champlain Cup pre-season tournament in Barre on December 27, 2009.
This year's Cup series will be between Vermont, Manchester and Quebec with three games in three days with the winner claiming the cup.
The Frost Heaves open the 2010 PBL season on January 3rd at 4:05pm against the vaunted Millrats in Manchester.
"With only 20 games to be played, each game is going to be a battle," states GM Michael Healey. "Fans in Vermont will get to see all of the PBL teams at least once which will make for exciting match-ups every time the Frost Heaves take the court".
The Frost Heaves open training camp on December 14th. This year's schedule will be split evenly between Burlington and Barre.
Season tickets will go on sale next week to existing season ticket holders with more information to come.
