Venom Kicks off Home Opener with Tribute to Foster Care, Cancer Survivors
March 14, 2016 - Champions Indoor Football (CIF)
Amarillo Venom News Release
The Amarillo Venom is back in town, and they're finishing off Spring Break with a bang.
The Amarillo Venom home opener at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 is brought to you by Marble Depot. Against the Dodge City Law, the Venom will honor those involved with Foster Care by giving away free kids' tickets.
The Venom will also recognize those who defeated the ailments of cancer and those who are currently fighting against it by teaming up with the American Cancer Society. You can help the Venom and ACS by purchasing a ticket at the ticket booth or online, and just say or type in the word "RELAY." The Venom will then donate $1 from the ticket sale to the ACS.
Thanks to Marble Depot, all area city employees can get in on the action as well, as the Venom is currently offering a Family 4-Pack, an $80 value, for $20 with their city employee ID card. If you work for any municipality, just mention the Family 4-Pack at the Amarillo Civic Center box office and present your identification card.
Lastly, the home opener will be the first of many "Small Town Saturday Night" home games. Those who reside in Dumas, Sunray, Dalhart, Hartley, Texhoma, Texline and Guymon, Okla., can obtain two $10 corner tickets for free.
Should you live in or around these fine communities, all you will have to do is have your driver's license on hand, stating that you're from the area.
The AMARILLO VENOM is a proud member of Champions Indoor Football. For more information and tickets, please contact the Venom office at (806) 350-7277.
