Amarillo Venom News Release
Amarillo, TX 4/04/11 - The Amarillo Venom have relieved Defensive Coordinator Sammy Walker and Special Teams Coach Jarrett Hicks of their coaching duties, effective immediately.
"It is always tough to let one of your coaches go," said Rodney Blackshear the Venom's Head Coach, "especially when you have the type of relationships I did with both Coach Walker and Coach Hicks. I wish both of those guys nothing but success in the future."
It is uncertain whether the Venom will look for replacements for Coach Walker and Coach Hicks, but as of right now no new hires have been made.
