The Miracle took an early 1-0 lead on a solo home run from Vargas in the second inning off Hammerheads starter Anthony DeSclafani. Vargas golfed a 1-0 pitch over the right field fence for his sixth homer of the season.

In the fourth inning, Isaac Galloway provided Jupiter with 2-1 lead with his fourth home run of the season. With two out, Ryan Rieger was struck by a pitch from Miracle starter Taylor Rogers. Galloway then worked the count to 3-1 before sending one over the left field fence.
