Vancouver Stealth News Release
(Vancouver, BC - Friday, December 27, 2013) - The Vancouver Stealth will be appearing on National TV for two road games in the month of January starting with their season opener on January 4 at 6:00 PM PST on TSN2, as the Stealth face the Colorado Mammoth. The Stealth will again appear on TSN2 Friday, January 31 at 4:30 PM PST with an all-Canadian matchup, as they travel to Toronto to take on the Rock. The National Lacrosse League will be featured throughout the 2014 season on TSN / TSN2 as they will broadcast eight National Lacrosse League games across Canada.
"We are very excited that our fans will have the chance to see the club compete on the road," said LEC Director of Business Development Jared Harman.
" Obviously having one of those games against Toronto will be big but we are also excited about getting the first game of the regular season on to showcase the team in advance of our home opener here at the LEC on January 11 against Minnesota."
On January 4, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM the Vancouver Stealth will also be hosting a viewing party at Townhall Public House in Langley ( 19640 64 Avenue, Langley, BC) and Townhall Public House in Coquitlam ( 925 Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam, BC ). The Stealth Bombshells dance team will be on location and they'll be giving out some swag and Stealth merchandise for fans. There will also be one staff member at each location to take season ticket orders for non-season ticket holders.
Townhall Public House has committed to showing the Stealth game against Colorado that evening in its duration on at least one of their big screens for Stealth fans and are offering 20% off food for Stealth season ticket holders if they show their season ticket ID card (located in their season ticket books).
"We are very excited to help the Stealth kick off their season," said Ryan Moreno, of the Joseph Richard Group and Townhall.
"It is exciting to have pro lacrosse back in the market and we want to make sure The Joseph Richard Group and Townhall are there to support it."
January 4 marks the beginning of the 2014 NLL season for the Stealth followed by their home opener on January 11 against the Minnesota Swarm at 7:00 PM PST at the Langley Events Centre. For details visit www.StealthLAX.com .
