PHILADELPHIA, PA - Tied for the top spot in the AFL, the Albany Empire (5-2) play host for the second straight week to the Baltimore Brigade (5-2) on Saturday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET at Times Union Center on CBS Sports Network.
The Philadelphia Soul (4-3) snapped their three-game losing streak last week in D.C. and play host to the Washington Valor (0-7) on Sunday, June 10 at 4 p.m. ET at Wells Fargo Center on AFL Now and AFL Facebook Watch Page.

VALOR: The Valor added QB Arvell Nelson to its roster before Week 8's game against the Soul...Nelson completed 25-of-44 passes for 345 yards, two INTs, and seven TDs in his debut with the Valor...Last season, Nelson went 242-of-378 passes for 3,084 yards, 14 INTs, and 61 TDs...WR Reggie Gray is the Valor's leading receiver this season with 42 receptions for 500 yards and 11 TDs...Last week against the Soul, Gray hauled in 8 catches for 127 yards and three TDs...WR Jared Dangerfield got his first career AFL touchdown in his second game of 2018...The rookie caught seven passes for 73 yards and two TDs...DB Michael Knight continues to leads the Valor defense with 21.5 total tackles, one pass break up, two passes defended, one fumble recovery, and one INT
SOUL: QB Greg McGhee got his second start under center against the Valor...The rookie completed 11-of-19 passes for 189 yards, one INT, and 4 TDs while adding 14 rushing yards and two rushing TDs...Since taking over for QB Dan Raudabaugh, McGhee has gone 31-of-54 passes for 401 yards, three INTs, and nine TDs and adding 88 rushing yards and four TDs...The "Darius Duo" continue to be the Soul's go-to receivers...WR Darius Prince caught five passes for 61 yards and three TDs...WR Darius Reynolds added an additional two receptions for 38 yards and one TD against the Valor last week...The duo has combined for 83 catches for 1,041 yards and 19 TDs on the season...DB LaRico Stevenson tallied 5.5 total tackles and 43 yard INT return for a TD to earn him Defensive Player of the Week honors
