Val-d'Or Will Not Host the First Round

April 16, 2021 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) News Release


Montreal, QC - Public Health implemented travel restrictions yesterday to contain COVID-19. After discussions with public health officials, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced tonight that Val-d'Or will not host a protected environment event for the first round of the 2021 President Cup Playoffs.

Therefore, the Val-d'Or vs. Baie-Comeau series will be played in Drummondville, while Victoriaville will host Rouyn-Noranda at the Colisée Desjardins.
