UWLX Sets Inaugural Championship Weekend for July 30-31st in Baltimore

BOSTON (Thursday) - The United Women's Lacrosse League (UWLX) made a major announcement today, confirming that the league will host its inaugural Championship Weekend on July 30-31^st at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.
UWLX Championship Weekend gets underway on Saturday, July 30^th, with a semifinals doubleheader at Homewood Field on the campus of Johns Hopkins University. First up, the top-ranked team from the regular season will meet the fourth-ranked club at 5:30 p.m. The number two and three ranked teams will then conclude the semifinals at 7:30 p.m.
The winners of the two semifinal matches will square off Sunday afternoon in a 1:00 p.m. title match, where the first-ever UWLX Champions will be crowned.
In addition to the exciting news about UWLX Championship Weekend, the league also announced today that both semifinal matches and the title game will be available for live viewing through the ESPN platform via the WatchESPN app and ESPN3.com.
