Utica NY - The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) approved a trade this morning between the San Diego Sockers and Utica City FC. Utica City FC will acquire Slavisa "Slav" Ubiparipovic. Per league policies, further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Ubiparipovic, 33, was the MISL Rookie of the Year in 2011-12 playing with the Syracuse Silver Knights, and has played 11 professional seasons of indoor soccer with Syracuse, Utica and San Diego. He has scored 153 goals and recorded 132 assists in his 184-game career.
In 2018-2019 with Utica City, Ubiparipovic played 19 games, scored 19 goals and tallied 18 assists.
He will be with the team for the home opener on Sunday, December 5th at 3 P.M. Tickets are still available at uticacityfc.com/tickets.
