
Utah's Grady Voted Week 9 National Guard MVP

TULSA, Okla. - Utah Blaze QB TOMMY GRADY has been named the National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 9 of the 2011 AFL season, as voted on by fans.
Grady received over 50 percent of the fans' votes on Facebook.com after helping Utah pick up its fourth win of the season. The 74-71 victory over Georgia boasted one of Grady's best performances of the season. Grady completed a season high 33-of-45 passes for 344 yards and a team record 10 touchdowns. The Blaze rank first in the League in scoring offense (64.7) and total offense (336.7).
The Blaze (4-3) host the Milwaukee Mustangs (2-6) on Saturday, May 14 at 9 p.m. EST.
Other candidates for the award included Orlando QB Nick Hill and Georgia WR CJ Johnson.
