Sharks Host Barnstormers on Military Appreciation Night

Jacksonville, Fla- The Jacksonville Sharks will be auctioning game-worn commemorative jerseys Friday, May 13, 2011 during Military Appreciation Night, presented by Navy Federal Credit Union, when they take on the Iowa Barnstormers. The commemorative military jerseys will only be worn for this game. The net proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project to raise funds for programs and services that give aide to severely wounded soldiers.

A silent auction will begin at SharkFest and continue on the arena concourse throughout the game. All starting bids will begin at $100 per jersey. The bidding will conclude with a live auction during the post-game autograph session for select players' jerseys.

Additionally, commemorative t-shirts and Shark Attack Dance Team Posters will be offered for a one dollar donation at SharkFest and in the arena lobby.
