SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC heads East to take on Chicago Red Stars on Saturday, August 3rd at 6:00 p.m. MT at SeatGeek Stadium for the first time during the 2019 season.
Utah Royals FC and Chicago Red Stars will meet for only the second time this season with the last meeting between the two sides ending in a 1-0 victory for Royals FC. FW Amy Rodriguez scored late in the 84th with an assist from MF Gunny Johnsdottir minute to secure the win at home.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC played to a 2-1 loss to North Carolina Courage at Rio Tinto Stadium last Saturday. FW Christen Press scored the team's lone goal of the match, earning her the Goal of the Week nod for her second goal and honor in as many matches.
URFC enters Saturday's match with a 2-2-0 (6 points) all-time record against Chicago and have yet to win on the road when playing the Red Stars.
