SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC returns to Rio Tinto Stadium to take on Sky Blue FC for the third and final time during the 2019 Regular Season on Wednesday, August 7 at 8:00 p.m. MT.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC played to a 2-0 loss to Chicago Red Stars at SeatGeek Stadium. GK Nicole Barnhart made a season-high six saves, but it was not enough as Royals FC struggled to find the back of the net, despite five shots from MF Gunny Jónsdóttir and three each from FW Amy Rodriguez and FW Katie Stengel.
URFC enters Saturday's match with a 3-1-1 (10 points) all-time record against Sky Blue FC, with the last match resulting in the club's first-ever loss to the team from New Jersey. Royals FC held Sky Blue scoreless for most of the match, but in the final minutes forward Jen Hoy found the back of the net to give the opponent a 1-0 victory at Yurcak Field.
