SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC returns home to take on defending NWSL Champion North Carolina Courage on Saturday, July 27 at 8:00 p.m. MT. Saturday's match in Sandy can will be broadcast live nationally on ESPNews as the club's first nationally broadcast match of 2019 as part of the newly touted partnership between ESPN and the National Women's Soccer League.

Utah Royals FC and North Carolina Courage will meet for the second time this season with the last meeting between the two sides ending in a 1-1 draw in mid-May. URFC FW Amy Rodriguez scored early in the 8th minute before Elizabeth Eddy equalized in the 78th minute to secure a point for either side in North Carolina.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC played to a dramatic 2-2 draw with rival Portland Thorns FC in Sandy as FW Christen Press' Goal of the Week strike in the first half helped lead URFC to the home point before DF Rachel Corsie slid home a stoppage time equalizer.
URFC enters Saturday's match with a 1-0-3 (6 points) all-time record against North Carolina Courage and is the only team to have yet suffered defeat at the hands of the defending 2019 National Women's Soccer League Champions.
