
Utah Royals FC Concludes Three-Game Road Stretch at Washington Spirit

SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC finishes it's three-game road stretch, facing the Washington Spirit on Wednesday, August 21 at 5:30 p.m. MT at Maryland SoccerPlex.
In its last match, Utah Royals FC defeated Orlando Pride for the third-consecutive time, making it a clean sweep this season with goals from FW Christen Press and FW Amy Rodriguez. The match marked the third-consecutive win for Utah and the third straight match with multiple goals.
Wednesday's match will mark the third and final time these two teams will face each other during the 2019 regular season. Thus far Royals FC and the Spirit have split victories during the previous two matches with Washington taking the upper hand in the most recent game, taking a 2-0 win over Utah at Maryland SoccerPlex on June 1.
URFC enters Sunday's match with a 4-1-0 (12 points) all-time record against the Washington Spirit, tied for the most victories against a single team for URFC, who also has three wins against Sky Blue FC.
