Conboy scored a pair of goals in each game on the weekend, both Lancer wins. He scored a power play goal and the game winner on Saturday. He had 10 SOG and was a +3. Runner-Up: Mike Sislo of Green Bay (2 GP, 2-2-4, +3, 9 SOG)

Wayzata, Minn.

Davis had three points in a weekend sweep of Sioux City. He scored a pair of power play goals in Friday s 3-2 win and followed it with a power play assist in Saturday s 5-3 win. Runner-Up: Chris Reed of Ohio (2 GP 1-0-1, GWG, +2, 6 SOG)

Patterson went 2-0-0 with a pair of wins over Sioux Falls. He made 45 saves Friday and 46 on Saturday for a saves percentage of .968 and a goals against average of 1.50. Runner-Up: Drew Palmisano of Omaha (2 GP, 2-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .943 SV%)

She Shoots, She Scores: Karen Davis, mother of Green Bay defenseman Kurt Davis, won $20,000 when she shot and scored from center ice through an opening measuring 4 x 2 at Saturday s Gamblers game...Scoring Stars: Lincoln tied a league high with 6 goals in the second period Friday. They ve won 7 straight games and are averaging 6.71 goals per game in that stretch...Shooting Stampede: Sioux Falls tied a league high with 24 shots on goal in the second period Saturday...Scoreless: Ohio shutout Des Moines 6-0 Saturday, their first shutout of the season...So Sorry: Last week in this space the word regulation was omitted in referring the Omaha Lancers streak. The USHL regrets the error.

USHL NOTEBOOK

Cedar Rapids: Tyler Thompson scored a pair of goals, his first multi-goal and multi-point game of the season, in Saturday s 5-1 win over Sioux Falls.

Chicago: Sean Dolan has committed to Wisconsin. Andy Miele scored twice in a 5-3 loss to Tri-City Thursday.

Des Moines: Derek Elliot had just his second multi-point game of the season in a 6-4 loss to Lincoln on March 7. Matt Dalton earned his league-leading fifth shutout of the season with Sunday s 2-0 win over Ohio.

Green Bay: Mike Sislo had two assists in Friday s 3-2 win over Sioux City. He followed it up with two goals in Saturday s 5-3 win over the Musketeers. Sislo has points in five straight games.

Indiana: John Kemp was held scoreless on the weekend and is now without a point in three straight games, tying his longest scoreless drought of the season.

Lincoln: Jared Brown has picked up three points in four of his last five games, including a hat trick in a 6-3 win over Waterloo on Saturday. Steve Schultz had six points last week and is on a seven game scoring streak.

Ohio: Ohio tied a season-high for goals in a game with six in a 6-0 win over Des Moines Saturday. Corson Cramer got his second win and first shutout in the game.

Omaha: With a pair of wins over Indiana on the weekend, Drew Palmisano now has 16 wins in 19 games played for Omaha. Mark Olver had a goal and two assists in Friday s 7-3 win over the Ice.

Sioux City: Travis Oleksuk scored his first goal since October 27 in a 3-2 loss to Green Bay Friday.

Sioux Falls: Jordy Christian rejoined the team following the end of his high school teams season, playing his first games since November. He had a point in each game on the weekend, both Stampede losses to Cedar Rapids.

Tri-City: Alex Hudson had two goals and an assist, including the game winning goal in a 5-3 win over Chicago Thursday. Andy Sackrison had a goal in the same game, snapping a seven-game goal drought. He has just two goals in his last 23 games.

Waterloo: Forward Kyle Reeds has committed to Dartmouth. James Marcou s scoring streak is now at five games.

NCAA ALUMNI NEWS

Jim McKenzie (Sioux Falls) scored four points (2 goals, 2 assists) to help Michigan State sweep Nebraska-Omaha to advance to the CCHA Final Four.

After losing Friday s game, St. Cloud State came back and won their first round WCHA series against Minnesota-Duluth with a pair of overtime wins. Nate Dey (Green Bay) scored the winner Saturday and Andreas Nodl (Sioux Falls) had the winner in triple overtime Sunday.

Trevor Stewart (Waterloo) had three assists in UConn s 5-4 quarterfinal victory over Mercyhurst.

Ross Cherry (Sioux Falls) made 18 saves in Middlebury College s 3-2 victory over UMass-Dartmouth, helping the Panthers advance to the NCAA Division III Final Four this weekend. Middlebury is the three-time defending champions of Division III.

PROFESSIONAL ALUMNI NEWS

Paul Stastny (River City) set an NHL record for longest point streak by a rookie, when he assisted on a goal Sunday. He now has points in 18 straight games.

Rob Rankin (Topeka) has been called up from the ECHL s Pensacola Ice Pilots to Bridgeport of the AHL, the top affiliate of the New York Islanders.

Waterloo native Bryce Anderson (Des Moines) has signed with Dayton of the ECHL. Jake Luthi (Sioux Falls) signed with Alaska in the ECHL.

Erik Cole (Des Moines) returned from injury this week.

T.J. Fox (Chicago) signed a contract with the San Jose Sharks out of Union College. Fox gives up his final two years of eligibility and becomes the first Union player since 1995 to sign a pro contract and leave school early.
