RBK USHL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Josh Berge - Tri-City Storm

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

College - Minnesota State-Mankato NHL - Undrafted

Berge had a monster weekend, helping the Storm win back-to-back games for just the second time this season. After going scoreless in a 3-1 loss to Lincoln on Tuesday, Berge had three assists in a 6-2 win at Omaha on Friday. The next night, he scored a goal and added four assists, including setting up the game-winning goal in a 6-4 win over Des Moines. Honorable Mention - Louis Leblanc (OMA), C.J. CCM USHL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jake Newton - Lincoln Stars

San Jancinto, California

College - Northeastern NHL - Undrafted

Newton, currently fourth in scoring among USHL defensemen, had another good week as the Stars held their lead in the West Division. On Tuesday, Newton had a pair of assists in a 3-1 win at Tri-City. On Friday, he went scoreless in a 3-1 loss at Green Bay. Saturday he scored a goal and had an assist in a 5-2 win at Chicago. He had eight shots on goal and was +3 in the three games.

Mike Lee - Fargo Force

Roseau, Minnesota

College - St. Cloud State NHL - Undrafted (#4 in mid-term rankings) Lee was his usual spectacular self, helping the Force pick up a pair of road wins and closing the gap in the West Division on second-place Omaha. On Friday, Lee made 27 saves in a 2-1 win at Sioux Falls, snapping the Stampede's six-game winning streak. The next night, he made 29 stops in a 2-1 win at Sioux City. For the week, Lee was 2- 0-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .966 save percentage. Honorable Mention - T.J. Massie (TC), Brett Bennett (IND), Steve Summerhays (GB) March 2, 2009
