USBL to Hold Draft April 9

April 8, 2002 - United States Basketball League (USBL) News Release


MILFORD, CT - The United States Basketball League, Inc. (USBL), will hold its Annual Draft tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST. The Draft will be conducted via teleconference call disseminating from the League Office. Once again, the Draft will be held live at the USBL's official Web Site at www.usbl.com.

The Draft will be conducted as an Eight Round Draft. The St. Joseph Express will have the first selection followed by the St. Louis Skyhawks and the Adirondack Wildcats. The order, thereafter, will be based on the standings from 2001. A complete Listing of the Draft Order can be found at the USBL Web Site.

The Draft is the starting point for most USBL Teams as they are currently conducting free-agent tryout camps. With the season only 11 days away, teams will be looking to strengthen their teams through the draft while they begin their veteran camps this weekend.
