USA Today names Mike Lansing Field to "Top Ten Places to make a Baseball Pilgrimage" list

Casper- Citing its wide open beauty and intimate setting USA Today has named Mike Lansing Field to its list of 10 best places to make a baseball pilgrimage. Mike Lansing Field is located near downtown Casper, WY and is home to the Casper Ghosts a Pioneer league affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.

The list was compiled from over 200 minor league parks across America. Parks were noted for a variety of unique traits from historical importance to majestic views.

"We are thrilled to see a small hometown ballpark like Mike Lansing Field recognized for its charm and intimate feel" Casper Ghosts General Manager Mike Sandler said.

"To be listed in the company of these other amazing parks is a great honor for us and I think it really shows that a little drive off the beaten path can sometimes turn up a gem" Sandler added.
