
US Lacrosse and Philadelphia Wings to Host US Lacrosse Fan Fest

The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and US Lacrosse will partner to boost the experience of the lacrosse community attending the US Lacrosse Fan Fest at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia on Saturday, January 12 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Wings general manager and head coach Johnny Mouradian, along with selected players and staff, will conduct a demonstration on the STX Live Field at 1:30 p.m. Anyone wearing a Wings jersey to Fan Fest will be admitted for just $5 (general admission is $10).
"Our working relationship with the Philadelphia Wings is one reason we attracted a record crowd of 1,715 to the US Lacrosse Fan Fest in 2012, and we're delighted to team up with them again to provide a great event for lacrosse fans of all ages in January," said Beth Porreca, director of special events at US Lacrosse.
Several Wings players are anticipated to be on hand for the weekend's events, including Wings Captains Brodie Merrill and Dan Dawson, Max Seibald, Kevin Crowley and Ned Crotty.
"The Philadelphia Wings are excited for the US Lacrosse National Convention's return to Philadelphia, our participation in the Fan Fest and the continued growth of our valued relationship with US Lacrosse," said Wings owner Michael French. "I very much look forward to attending the weekend's events and festivities."
The US Lacrosse Fan Fest is the public portion of the three-day US Lacrosse National Convention, presented by Champion, January 11-13 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Fan Fest will feature approximately 150 exhibitors, demonstrations and autograph sessions with the Wings and the U.S. National Teams, the Champion Shooting Tunnel, and the latest and greatest in lacrosse equipment, uniforms, apparel and more.
Fan Fest tickets are $10 per person or $5 for any youth or high school player wearing his/her team jersey. Tickets will be sold on January 12 at the Grand Hall Entrance of the convention center. Doors open at 11 a.m. For more information visit uslacrosse.org/2013fanfest.
The US Lacrosse National Convention is the largest professional development event in the world for lacrosse coaches, officials and administrators, featuring 150 educational sessions. Former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Dick Vermeil will deliver the keynote address on January 11 at 7 p.m. Membership in US Lacrosse is required to attend.
