
United Indoor Football Week Eleven Review

Omaha, NE - Week eleven of the United Indoor Football is in the books. Both conferences continue to be close after this weekend's results. The Outlaws beat the Beef, the Ice clip the Rage, the Storm defeat the Wild and the Extreme nip the Bandits.
BILLINGS 61, OMAHA 40
At Omaha, NE
The Billings Outlaws went on the road and defeated the Omaha Beef 61-40 Saturday evening at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Outlaws were led by quarterback Chris Dixon and linebacker Travis Salter. Dixon tallied 298 yards of total offense (50 rushing and 247 passing) and had a hand in eight total touchdowns (one rushing and seven passing). Salter made a team-high 10.5 tackles (nine solo, three assisted), two tackles for loss and a sack and also recovered a fumble. Leading the way for Omaha were defensive back Diezeas Calbert and running back R.J. Rollins. Calbert led the team with eight tackles (seven solo, two assisted) and also intercepted a pass and broke up another. Rollins tallied 221 all-purpose yards (50 rushing, 23 receiving and 148 kickoff returns) and scored three rushing touchdowns. This week, the Outlaws host Sioux Falls while the Beef have a bye.
BLOOMINGTON 76, SIOUX CITY 73
At Bloomington, IL
The Bloomington Extreme nipped the Sioux City Bandits 76-73 Saturday evening at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Bloomington was led by quarterback Dusty Burk and defensive back Mike Crumpler. Burk had 278 yards of total offense (26 rushing and 252 passing) and had a hand in eight touchdowns (one rushing and seven passing). Crumpler made a team-high 9.5 tackles (seven solo and five assisted) to lead the defense. Leading the way for the Bandits were defensive back Chad Husted and quarterback Chad Kapanui. Husted made a team-high 8.5 tackles (six solo, five assisted) to lead the defense. Kapanui had 272 yards of total offense (four rushing and 268 passing) and passed for six touchdowns. This week, the Extreme have a bye while the Bandits host Colorado.
SIOUX FALLS 57, WICHITA 14
At Sioux Falls, SD
The Sioux Falls Storm defeated the Wichita Wild 57-14 Saturday evening at the Sioux Falls Arena. Leading the way for Sioux Falls were quarterback Terrance Bryant and the team's defense. Bryant accumulated 140 yards of total offense (21 rushing and 119 passing) and threw two touchdown passes to lead the offense. The Storm's defense tallied nine tackles for loss, five sacks, four pass break ups, three interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and a blocked kick. Wichita was led by defensive back Eric Washington and wide receiver Chris Williams. Washington made 2.5 tackles, ½ a tackle for loss and also two interceptions. Williams caught a team-high five passes for 34 yards and two touchdowns while also returning two kicks for 36 yards. This week, the Storm travel to Billings to face the Outlaws and the Wild host the Rage.
COLORADO 32, RIVERCITY 30
At Loveland, CO
The Colorado Ice clipped the RiverCity Rage 32-30 Saturday evening at the Budweiser Events Center at the Ranch. Leading the way for the Ice were running back Terry Washington and linebacker Ryan Palmer. Washington led the team with his 84 rushing yards and a touchdown; he also caught two passes for 33 yards. Palmer led the defense with a team-high seven tackles (six solo, two assisted) and 2.5 tackles for loss. Leading the way for the Rage were wide receiver Hurtis Chinn and defensive lineman Jamal Cooper. Chinn tallied 251 all-purpose yards (35 receiving and 216 kickoff returns). Cooper made a team-high 8.5 tackles (seven solo and three assisted) and also had a tackle for loss and a sack. This week, the Ice head east to play Sioux City while the Rage also are on the road, at Wichita.
