LEXINGTON 42, AT BLOOMINGTON 16 - On Friday night, the Lexington Horsemen (8-1) remained on top of the East Division as they beat the Bloomington Extreme (4-5), 42-16. The Horsemen were led by wide receive, John Cooper, who made 6 catches for 101 yards and three touchdowns in the contest. For Bloomington, Kenton Carr had a rough night as he threw five interceptions, but did have two touchdown throws on the night. JT Haskins came down with two of those interceptions in favor of the Horsemen and totaled 3.5 tackles as well. Winston Taylor for Bloomington led all players with 7.5 total tackles. The game was played at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in front of nearly 5,000 screaming fans. Next week the Horsemen host the Rock River Raptors and Bloomington heads to Evansville.

OMAHA 60, AT PEORIA 16 - The Omaha Beef (4-5) remain in the play-off hunt as they beat the Peoria Rough Riders (0-9), 60-16 at Carver Arena. Six players for the Beef offense scored touchdowns as RJ Rollins and Jamar Day each had two. Fran Johnson threw for 131-yards and three touchdowns after completing a mere 6 of 13 pass attempts. For Peoria, Ashlee Frazier scored one touchdown as he caught three passes for 64-yards. Friday night the Omaha Beef host the undefeated Sioux Falls Storm and Peoria host the Sioux City Bandits.

OHIO VALLEY 47, EVANSVILLE 45 - For the second time this season, the battle between the BlueCats (3-6) and the Greyhounds (4-5) came with a two-point victory, but this time in the Hounds favor. Matt Kohn led the Greyhounds by throwing for 176-yards and four touchdowns from 23 of 34 passing. Kohn did throw one interception in the contest. Willie Austin was on the receiving end of six passes for 73-yards and two scores. For the BlueCats, Aaron Leak threw for 123-yards and three touchdowns, with 2 interceptions as well. Brock Dodrill led the Hounds with 13 total tackles and John Winchester carried the BlueCats defense with 10. Next week the BlueCats host Bloomington and the Greyhounds welcome in Ft. Wayne.
