UHL names GINGRAS Goaltender of the Month

(LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO – November 2) --- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Tuesday that Kansas City Outlaws goaltender Maxime Gingras has been named Southern Sports Supply UHL Goaltender of the Month for the month of October, leading his team to a 5-2 record in its first month of existence.

Gingras finished the month with a 4-1-0 record, a 3.00 GAA, and .910 save percentage. He also turned away all 13 attempts he faced in two shootouts during the month (four shootout saves vs. Missouri on Saturday, October 16; nine shootout saves at Rockford on Friday, October 29). The 26-year-old Quebec City, Quebec native is currently tied for third in the league with four wins. Gingras is tied for the league lead with two shootout victories and his perfect shootout percentage (1.000) leads all UHL netminders.

"Maxime has been a strong anchor between the net, as he continually comes up with big saves in the most crucial situations," said Outlaws General Manager Joe Bucchino. "This honor is well deserved and is a sign of things to come with Kansas City Outlaws hockey!"

Gingras and the 5-2 Outlaws take on cross-state rival Missouri River Otters on Wednesday, November 3 at 7:05 p.m., which is available on the radio on 1340 KCKN or through free live audio webcast at www.kansascityoutlaws.com.
