UHL expands to Kansas City, Missouri

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- United Hockey League (UHL) announced Thursday that the league's Board of Governors has awarded a member club to Kansas City, Missouri. The new team is owned by Chillicothe, Missouri resident Stephen Franke and will play at Kemper Arena for the upcoming 2004-05 season.

The new Kansas City team joins the UHL as the 14th member club for the league's 14th season.
