
UHL announces front office awards

LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Monday the following front office awards based on the contributions that the individuals made to their respective team and the league.
Governor of the Year â Paul Pickard, Kalamazoo Wings
General Manager of the Year â Ryan Washatka, Rockford IceHogs
Marketing Director of the Year â Scott Sproat, Fort Wayne Komets
Public Relations Director of the Year â Mike Modugno, Kalamazoo Wings
Broadcaster of the Year â Mike Peck, Rockford IceHogs
Best Merchandising of the Year â Danbury Trashers
The UHL Board of Governors selected the Governor of the Year. Governors and general managers selected the General Manager of the Year. Public relations directors and broadcasters selected the Public Relations Director of the Year and the Broadcaster of the Year.
UHL President/CEO Richard Brosal selected the Marketing Director of the Year and the Best Merchandising of the Year based on the success of each team's marketing and merchandising efforts throughout the season.
