
UConn Baseball Game Moved to Dodd Stadium Tomorrow

Norwich, CT - The University of Connecticut baseball game that was scheduled to be played at Sacred Heart on Tuesday, March 15 has been moved to Dodd Stadium in Norwich. The game is open to the public and there is no charge for admission.
It will be the first game played in New England for UConn this season.
Game time will remain at 3:30 p.m., with UConn acting as the home team and Sacred Heart as the road team. Concessions stands will not be open due to winterization of the ballpark.
UConn (7-6) recently returned from a seven-game road trip in California, and will head to South Carolina this weekend for the Cougar Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston.
Sacred Heart (5-6) is also playing its first game in New England in 2011.
The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League. The Tigers' home opener at Dodd Stadium will be June 20th 2011 at 7:05 P.M. against the Tri-City ValleyCats (Class-A affiliate of the Houston Astros).
