UCFC Announcement Regarding Availability of de Andrade, Tayou, and Moreira for Upcoming Series

Utica, NY - Nilton de Andrade and Franck Tayou have been named to the U.S. Men's Futsal National Team for the 2024 Concacaf Futsal Championship (April 13-20 at the Polideportivo Alexis Argüello in Managua, Nicaragua). The competition serves as the qualifying tournament for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup set for September 14-October 6 in Uzbekistan. Hewerton Moreira will be serving as the head coach for the team.

de Andrade and Tayou will play in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals vs. the Kansas City Comets on April 8th at 7:30 PM EDT. They will then depart to Nicaragua and be unavailable for the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on April 15th at the Adirondack Bank Center.

Hewerton Moreira will be unavailable for both games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Assistant Coach Casey Murphy will assume the Head Coach role in the interim. General Manager Tommy Tanner will serve as his assistant.
