U.S. National Team Development Program Annual Camp

Ann Arbor, MI – The U.S. National Team Development Program will be hosting its annual tryout camp March 13-16, 2004 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, MI. The camp, one of several mechanisms used to identify players for the U.S. National Team Development Program, will feature many of the top 1988 birth dates in the nation. See attached for roster.

Players be split into a Red and Blue Team and will participate in practices as a team and with the Under-17 National Team. The Red and Blue squads will also scrimmage, participate in off-ice training orientation, while goaltenders at the camp will have additional on ice skill sessions prior to scrimmages.

In addition, players and their parents, will go through a USNTDP orientation, which includes the billet process, legal guardianship, medical review and visit a to one of the local high schools.

Access will be granted to non-participants for the goaltender practice sessions, team practices and scrimmages for a fee of $75.

The US National Team based in Ann Arbor, MI is a full-time development program preparing the student athlete, under the age of 18, for participation on U.S. National Teams and future hockey careers. The effort is focused on high-caliber participation on the ice and creating well-rounded individuals off the ice.
