Two River Monsters Earn UIFL Weekly Honors

CANTON, OH - Two Northern Kentucky River Monsters earned Ultimate Indoor Football League weekly honors, the league announced today.

Harry Lewis picked up the league's offensive honor, while Dustin Zink was named the special teams player.

Lewis hauled in a league single-game high 151 yards with four touchdowns, including two during the pivotal third quarter. The Maysville, Ky. product leads the UIFL with 95.5 receiving yards per game.

Newport Central Catholic grad and Thomas More product Dustin Zink averaged 44.5 yards on kickoffs, and recorded the league's second Uno. He was also 8-of-10 on extra points, and is now 17-of-19 on the season.

Northern Kentucky (2-0) will play their third consecutive road game Saturday when the River Monsters will travel to Pikeville to face the Eastern Kentucky Drillers.

The Northern Kentucky River Monsters are inaugural members of the Ultimate Indoor Football League. The River Monsters, a professional indoor/arena football team, play their home football games at the Bank of Kentucky Center on the campus of Northern Kentucky University. Their first home game will be March 18, 2011.
