Two Former NBA Stars Square off This Weekend in Dallas

Dallas, TX. Gametime is showtime when the North Texas Fresh and the Dallas Generals meet Saturday night in Dallas in Dallas' opening game as they embark on their inaugural season. It will be former NBA star Isaiah "JR" Rider of the North Texas Fresh vs. Anthony "Pig" Miller of the Dallas Generals. This will be the first regular season game and the first home game for the Generals. The face-off will be held at the FAIR PARK COLISEUM, which is located inside of FAIR PARK, right next to the Cotton Bowl. The home court of the Dallas Generals is a near 10,000 seat arena that features the same 94' of hardwood played on by the Dallas Mavericks at Reunion Arena prior to the team moving into the new American Airlines Center. The doors will open at 5pm, and showtime is at 7pm.

There will be a Pre-Game Experience that features a youth basketball team and cheerleading squad...the Junior Generals & Lil' Lady Generals R & B sensations, "LUSH" will sing the National Anthem. Immediately after, the JROTC Color Guard from W.W. Samuell High School posts the flags and then the Lady Generals will perform.

The halftime show will feature a marching band and drumline - "The Platoon." There will also be a Pro-Am Slam Dunk contest during halftime and after the game, the fans will be able to get autographs and photo opportunities with the players as well as a post game press conference.
