Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Ryan Cramer scored twice and Matt DiGirolamo made saves every time he was tested Saturday in the Waterloo Black Hawks 4-0 win over the Chicago Steel.
Cramer opened the scoring early in the first, putting in a ricochet from the end boards. Josh Turnbull would add a goal before intermission, fed on a rush by Matt Arhontas. Cramer scored again early in the second, and Arhontas added an unassisted, shorthanded goal in the final minute of the game. DiGirolamo made 16 saves in the shutout, his second whitewash of the season.
Waterloo takes to the road on Tuesday night against the Omaha Lancers. Then it's back home again for a college weekend at Young Arena. Waterloo hosts the Green Bay Gamblers on Friday and the Lancers Saturday, both starting at 7:05.
