Two Blast Players Named to Team of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS-Rodrigo Costa and Jamar Beasley have both been named to the Week 14 USL Team of the Week for their performance in the 3-1 victory over the Milwaukee Wave United last Friday evening.
Beasley started the Blast scoring in the 43rd minute. Godfrey Tenoff sent a pass up the middle of the field that Beasley was able to hit past the Milwaukee keeper.
In the 60th minute, Costa provided the game-winning goal. Costa ripped a beautiful free kick over the Milwaukee player wall and into the upper 90 of the goal.
Is was the first A-league win for interim coach Mike Sanich of the Blast, who took over for Jimmy McDonald in late June.

THIS WEEK-The Blast are back at practice the entire week as they prepare to host the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday night at 7:35pm.
