
Twins Hand Brazos Valley Their First Loss of the Season

Texarkana, USA - Twins beat the previously undefeated Brazos Valley Bombers 14-6 on Like a Boss night. The Twins honor the bosses of Texarkana during tonight's game, the two bosses were Kevin Stucky of Red River Credit Union and Brad Stringer of Ledwell and Sons.
The game started with Jordan Johson on the mound and made quick work of the first three batters and then the fun started for the Twins. In the bottom of the first inning, the Twins scored 8 runs and never looked back. With the bases loaded Brazos Valley pitcher, Christian Vega threw a wild pitch and scored the first run. Later that inning Tom Litchy came up and hit a double to score two runs.
The Bombers did not score any runs until the fifth inning. In the top of the fifth they scored two runs, but by the time they scored the Twins had 10 runs on the board. The Twins would score two more in the 7th and the 8th inning bringing the total to 14. The Bombers did bring in runs in the 7th, 8th, and 9th inning but it was too little too late as the final score was 14-6.
Reese Durand, Matt Kissmais, Tom Litchy all went 3-5 on the night. Combined the three of them had six RBI's on the night. Ryne Randle was 3-6 on the night as well. The Twins were able to capitalize on good base running and wild pitches to get out to an early lead.
