Twins Add Two Outfielders for 2018 Season

Texarkana, USA - The Texarkana Twins are excited to announce the addition of two outfielders, Hudson Hopkins from Louisiana Tech and Garrett Hastings from University of Kentucky.
Hudson Hopkins is a Junior outfielder for Louisiana Tech, who comes to the Bulldogs after a strong career at Seminole State College. While at Seminole State, Hopkins hit .372 with 15 home runs and 51 RBIs as a sophomore. Hopkins also had an outstanding high school career at Pleasant Grove High School, where during his four years, he won a Texas state championship in 2012 and was named First Team All-District and First Team All-State.
Garrett Hastings is a Freshman outfielder for the University of Kentucky. Even though he is spending the 2018 season redshirting, coaches rave his speed and defensive skills combined with his effectiveness as a left-handed hitter. During his high school career at F.W. Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Florida, Hastings was a two-time All-Area honoree and a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All American.
