Edmonton Rush News Release
Edmonton, AB--- Edmonton Rush Captain Andrew Turner has been forced to decline his invitation to start for the West Division at the 2007 National Lacrosse League All-Star Game this Saturday in Portland.
Turner, who was voted into the starting six by NLL coaches, media and fans, has to back out of appearing in the All-Star Game due to a prior commitment.
Turner will be replaced in the starting lineup by Arizona's Peter Lough and the roster spot will be filled by Portland's Bruce Alexander.
This was Turner's fourth All-Star Game selection and second with Edmonton. The 29-year-old missed last year's All-Star Game in Toronto due to injury.
With Turner's absence, Jimmy Quinlan will be the Rush's lone representative in the All-Star Game. Last week, Rush forward Chris Gill declined his selection to the All-Star Game due to a family commitment.
The Edmonton Rush believes ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Fans are encouraged to wear Black, Be Loud and Bring ATTITUDE.
