AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Turfcats are proud of the success in our inaugural season and now its time to party like we are. The Turfcats and Hooters are hosting the first-ever post-season party and everyone is invited. Players, coaches, cheerleaders, staff, interns and, of course, fans are encouraged to join us for food, fun, drinks and a jersey auction.
 "We are so grateful to have such a good group of players, staff and, especially, fans," said Turfcats Vice President/General Manager Ronald Oswalt. "This season wouldn't have been such a success without the help and support of everyone involved with the team. We want to host this party and take this time to show our appreciation and share our gratitude for everyone in the Turfcats family.
Along with the festivities, several Turfcats team members will be presented with their end-of-season Southern Indoor Football League awards.
When: Sunday, August 30, 2009, 2:00 p.m.
Where: Hooters, 425 W. Riverside Drive, Austin, TX
Who: players, coaches, cheerleaders, staff, interns, fans and you
Why: We need to celebrate. The Turfcats had an awesome inaugural year and we'd like everyone who helped make it happen to join us for some fun.
Jersey Auction: The green home jerseys will be auctioned off during the event to the highest bidder. Jerseys not sold during the event and some white jerseys will be sold online to the highest bidder.
